Biography:
Drawing and other ways of creating have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I got to college, however, I didn't think it would be a part of my future. I completed my BA in Cultural Anthropology because of my life-long fascination with diverse cultures, and later went back to studying Art after getting my degree. Now I am lucky enough to be teaching art at El Roble Intermediate school in Claremont, CA. I teach 2D Art, 3D Art, and Digital Photography.
My Art
My preferred media are drawing and watercolor painting, but I enjoy teaching a range of different art forms, and I love to experiment and learn new techniques. Currently I'm dabbling in soft sculpture and fiber arts such as needle felting and frame weaving. Below is a sampling of work from the last year or two.
